WHO IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR?
A for anyone in your organisation that uses, supervises or manages the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS) and needs
to be made aware of the correct selection, inspection and use of safety harnesses to prevent falls.
Using our tried and tested blend of classroom-based theory and hands-on experience, your staff can develop an awareness of the legal and practical implications of preventing falls from MEWPs, learn to identify and select the correct form of harness and lanyard, and be able to inspect, maintain, monitor, fit and use them effectively.

- Categories for safe work at height
- CE marking
- Trace-ability
- Work restraint – WHY?
- Work restraint – how it will work
- Equipment strengths: Harnesses Lanyards Connectors
- Equipment inspection
- Rescue provision
- Practical session (fitting and inspection of a full body harness, restraint lanyard, and correctly attach to an anchorage point)
CERTIFICATION
Upon successfully passing both the written and practical assessments each candidate’s details will be entered on to the IPAF central database and an e-certification is done via the EPAL app Physical cards and certificates can be issued at an extra cost. that is valid for 5 years. The PAL Card (Powered Access Licence) is recognised worldwide across industries as proof of platform operator training to the highest standard.
